What initially drew you to take up the role?

The chance to socialize with different people and grow at toastmasters.

What were the challenges you faced while in office?

Convincing people who have no previous knowledge of toastmasters on how it is a good idea to become a member.

How did you manage to keep a balance between work and Toastmaster leadership? Did you experience club officer burnout?

With the help of the very able and willing to help Exco members.

No, i always got assistance from the Exco.

Any lessons learnt while in office?

When doing something new always go in with the mentality of willing to learn.

Advise to your successor?

Hold on to your seat it will be an awesome experience.
