What initially drew you to take up the role?

It's a service role, and I thought I'd do well serving

What were the challenges you faced while in office?

Network and technology fails. The role also require multitasking which can be a challenge

How did you manage to keep a balance between work and Toastmaster leadership? Did you experience club officer burnout?

Apart from my role, I tried not to take any other roles in and out of the club so as not to stretch myself too thin Did you experience club officer burnout? Yes, especially during the trainings that would take sometimes two days

Any lessons learnt while in office?

Yes, zoom navigation skills, multitasking skills

Advise to your successor?

It helps quite a lot to be prepared in advance. Also have another official as your backup should you not be able to perform your role

Now that you are done with your tenure, where to next in your Toastmaster Leadership journey?

Am embarking on finishing my speeches and trying out other roles that I've never done before
